A proud mother and ally of my son Jai, who is part of the LGBTQ community and a professional choreographer & dancer. Being surrounded by my family is something I am extremely grateful for. I identify as Afro-Latina and first-generation Puerto Rican. Although New York is my first home, the call of my ancestors draws me back to my mother island as often as time allows.

My coaching business, DesignTheCore, aligns with my passion for helping others dig deep and discover how self-care, interpersonal relationships, and career development can uplift or limit one's joy.

It focuses on getting to the root causes of an individual's challenges and helps to shift actions that block a client's success at creating life-long achievements. I work with clients on self-development and unpacking the intersectionality of experiences and beliefs that shape and inform one's choices through the lens of equity. I am authentic and transparent about uncovering the 'Why' and the 'Why not now?'
