Laura Yee

She/Her

Executive Coach

I am committed to creating a more equitable, just and embracing world for each person through empowering BIPOC leaders, allies and those who identify with historically marginalized identities. While I take this work seriously, I also commit to living joyfully. I love to laugh, play in the woods, learn, and listen to each person’s personal story. My adopted “Pitbulls” are my best role models.

Summary and Highlights:

After over two decades of school leadership, I founded my coaching and consulting business, Radical Becoming Consulting, LLC to support leaders and organizations in creating optimal environments in which each person thrives. As a coach, I empower equity-driven leaders to make possible what they otherwise could not do alone to unearth untapped potential made possible due to – not in spite of – their lived experiences and intersectional identities as BIPOC.

As an equity, justice and belonging consultant, I anchor my workshops in researched best practices for adult learning and program design and work with organizations to improve effectiveness through transformational leadership, enterprise thinking and human-centered engagement. I possess a proven track record in program development and evaluation, talent management, and change management – all driven by a passion for equity and excellence.

Coaching Vision:

Using a “critically conscious” approach, clients unearth their unique talents and manifest courage to lead authentically and effectively while preserving their identities, core beliefs and personal values. I am committed to co-creating a space where clients can safely be their best and most vulnerable.

My coaching challenges leaders to celebrate and capitalize upon their strengths as well as interrogate existing ways of being that create barriers to accomplishing their goals. I am clients’ greatest cheerleader, provocative questioner, and non-judgmental thought partner. Post-coaching, clients gain greater clarity, self-assuredness and sense of empowerment to live and lead sustainably and joyfully with integrity and compassion.
